Born on July 5, 1928, and raised in New York, Bill became a “Southern Yankee” the last half of his life. His service of 22 years in the United States Air Force took him through many tours including his tenure as a Flight Engineer on “The Sacred Cow” as a member of President Harry S. Truman’s flight crew. After military retirement, Bill worked many years as Quality Control Manager for Crestview Aerospace and made Florida his home.

He was preceded in death by his first wife of 59 years, Doris Rose Osborn; his parents, Sarah Elizabeth McNamee Osborn and William Sidney Osborn; brother, Andy Osborn; and son, William E. Osborn.

Bill is survived by his wife of 12 years, Pamella Stuckey Osborn; his brother, Harold (Shirley) Osburn; and three daughters, Bethanne Goddard, Joanne Bell, and Nancy (Tony) Ganote. The extended family includes ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three step-sons and their spouses; four step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.

Funeral services are scheduled at 12 noon on Friday, November 29, 2019, at Lewis Funeral Home in Milton, with the Reverend John Webb officiating. Family visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m.; with friends encouraged to visit starting at 11:00 a.m., prior to the noon service.

Burial services will follow at 2:00 p.m., aboard NAS Pensacola at Barrancas National Cemetery with full Military Honors.

The family requests donations be considered for a charity of your choice.
