Obituary

Thomas P. “Tom” Jernigan, 57, of Navarre, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 5, 2019.

Tom was a native of New York and lived in Chestertown and Cazenovia, New York, before moving to Florida in 2003. Tom was a graduate of Fayetteville-/Manlius High School and was an honor graduate of Onondaga Community College. He was the owner of Signature Canvas.

Tom was preceded in death by his father, Paul J. Jernigan and his niece, Kristen E. Curtis.

Tom is survived by his mother, Mary H Jernigan; two brothers, Brian (Terrie) Jernigan and Paul (Wendy) Jernigan; two sisters, Mary Curtis and Catherine (Scott) Caruso; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held in Manlius, New York, at a later date. We will update the webpage and facebook post as soon as service arrangements are made.

Lewis Funeral Home of Navarre has been entrusted with arrangements.

The family requests memorial donations may be made, in Tom’s name, to Road Dogg Rescue.

Tom always had his most fun when he was fishing! He was a good man and very hardworking...restoring boats, sewing canvases for people and his lawn service. We will truly miss him!
