Obituary

Russell “Russ” F. Shane Jr., 64, of Milton, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019.
Russ was born at Pensacola NAS on August 4, 1955. He was the first born to Russell and Alice Shane. He was a jack of all trades and a master of many, but his specialty was elaborate and beautiful cabinetry and trim work. He was known for being a perfectionist by many within his field. He built many custom homes, Chick-Filet restaurants and banks across the Gulf Coast. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and outdoorsman.

Russ was predeceased by his father, Russell F. Shane Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Alice Faye Shane; significant other, Cathy Templet; brother, Frank Shane (Michelle); sister, Rose Nye (David); two sons, Derrick Shane (Casey) and Rickey Broxson; one daughter, Aimee Redd; seven grandchildren; and a lifelong friend, Johnny Hamm.

Lewis Funeral Home, Milton, Florida, is entrusted with his care. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Aunt Faye, and family so sorry to learn of Russell's passing. Had not seen him in a lot of years--but used to see him a lot when he was growing up. Sending Love, Prayers and Condolences
