Obituary

Philip C. Peckinpaugh, 70, of Navarre, Florida, went to his heavenly home Sunday, November 17, 2019.

Philip graduated from North High School, Evansville, Indiana. He was a member of First Baptist Church Navarre, and former deacon and member of the praise team. He was a previous member of Howell Baptist Church and Westwood Church in Evansville, Indiana; and was a member of Gideons International.

He retired from CSX Railroad in 2009 and moved to Navarre in 2015.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Roy; his and mother, Lillie Mae; and two brothers.

Philip is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jane Berry Peckinpaugh; son, Jason (Christy) of Wingo, Kentucky; son, Douglas; daughter, Jamie; step-daughter, Julie Bethel; grandson, Michael; and his granddaughter, Laken.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 21, 2019, at First Baptist Church Navarre, with Dr. Jensen Peterson officiating.

Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., prior to the service.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Oakhill Cemetery in Evansville, Indiana, with Rev. Terry Gamblin officiating.

The family would like to thank Dr. Nicholas Drake for always being honest and the care throughout this journey.

Lewis Funeral Home of Navarre, Florida, has been entrusted with arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made in Philip’s name to Gideons International.
