Born November 19, 1953, in Covington Kentucky, he was the son of the late George L. Mindermann and Mary Taylor of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Dennis proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 21 years and was a Veteran of both the Vietnam and Gulf War. While serving in support of his country this led him to many different duty stations, his fondest memories of time spent as a Marine was as a CH-46 Crew Chief at Marine Corps Base Hawaii Kaneohe Bay.

Following his Honorable Discharge from the Marine Corps in 1992, Dennis joined the ranks of Boeing where he continued to use his military knowledge in support of the V-22 Osprey. Dennis retired from Boeing after 24 years.

Dennis loved his family, friends, and his four bulldogs which he spoiled daily. He enjoyed spending time outside maintaining his lawn, traveling and relaxing on any of the Hawaiian Islands which he visited often.

He is survived by the love of his life, Brenda Mindermann of Milton, Fl; his four Bulldogs, Bo, Scout, Duchess and Duke; his five children, Dennis Mindermann Jr (Bunny), Alan Riddle Sr. (Heather), Patrick Mindermann, Wayne Riddle (Danielle) and Stacey Fitzgerald; eight grandchildren, Madison Mindermann, Madalynn Riddle, Joslyn Riddle, AJ Riddle, Frankie Mindermann, Mia Riddle, Gabriella Mindermann and Amelia Mindermann; and sister, Dottie Mindermann.

I worked with Dennis for years at Boeing. We had many good times. He was a great co-worker and we worked as a team. I always enjoyed hearing about his grandchildren and his bull dogs. I know he loved decorating for all the holidays. I was very saddened when I heard the news of his illness. Brenda my thoughts and prayers are with you always. I will have many fond memories of Dennis.

I served with “Bull” in SOMS ACM Kaneohe MCAS from about 1980 until 1981 when I rotated. He was a good Marine and I’m proud to have known him. When I rotated he was among my friends who gave me a plaque and signed the back of it. I am very sorry to hear of his passing.
