Obituary

Bobbie Nell Willis Hartwell, 80, of Milton, passed away Friday, August 30, 2019.

Bobbie was born in Natural Bridge, Alabama, to Charles and Willie Willis. She graduated from Lynn High School in 1956 and married George Hartwell in July 1957. She devoted her life as a loving mother and wife. She attended Friendship Baptist Church of Milton. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, George Hartwell; and her sister and brothers, Lorene Wiseheart, Raymond Willis, and JW Willis.

She is survived by a daughter, Debra (Ken) Carpenter of Adamsville, Alabama; a son, Charles Hartwell of Milton, Florida; a daughter, Lisa Lowery of Milton, Florida; a son, Bobby (Christie) Hartwell of Fountain, Florida; grandchildren, Barbara Freeman, Joni Hartwell, Diane Hudson, Christopher Gilbert, Derek Wise, Dillon (Rebecca) Leitzel, Michael Hartwell, Wyatt Hartwell, and Natalie Hartwell; and great grandchildren Rayne Hudson, Summer Hudson, Cody Hartwell, Madison Hartwell, Natalie Gilbert, Colton Gilbert, Kinsley Gilbert, Liam Leitzel, and Hailey Leitzel. Family would like to thank the staff at Emerald Coast Hospice for the love and care given.

Funeral Services for Bobbie Hartwell will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, September 5, 2019, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., prior to the services.

Graveside Services will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola NAS, with Lewis Funeral Home of Milton directing.

Please meet the family at 1:30 p.m., in the parking lot of Olive Baptist Church Warrington Campus (103 W. Winthrop Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32507). We will leave the church parking lot promptly at 1:50 p.m., to travel to the base.
